Jai Dharti Maa Foundation organized a Self-Employment Training Workshop.

Self-help group–based self-employment training will prove to be a blessing for rural women and men — Ravi Kumar Nishad

Today, on 08/11/2025, a self-employment training workshop was organized by Jai Dharti Maa Foundation at the premises of the Shiv Temple Community Hall in Keduwadih Panchayat, Garbudih Block.

The founder of Jai Dharti Maa Foundation, Ravi Kumar Nishad, said,
“One of the biggest challenges today is the lack of awareness regarding employment training. People from middle-class families—both men and women—do not find proper avenues to strengthen their financial condition. Many are compelled to migrate to other states for work, while women remain stuck in household responsibilities. Therefore, self-employment opportunities are extremely necessary.”

He further added that the foundation has been continuously conducting agricultural and rural employment training workshops for the last five years, through which thousands of farmers, youth, and women have received guidance.

The workshop was attended by:
Co-founder Ranjit Kumar, District Secretary Sahdev Mahato, Program Officer Md. Shamsher Ali, Scheduled Tribe Officer Sudhir Hembram, Assistant Manager Ram Mallah, Project Manager Akash Kumar, Anu Kumari, Garbudih Block In-charge Jagdish Mahato, and active members Bindeshwar Mahato, Nimai Chand Mahato, Shiveshwar Mahato, Bahadur Mahato, Nunilal Mahato, Pawani Devi, Rita Devi, Sundara Devi, Meena Devi, Namita Devi, Anita Devi, Indira Mahato, and others.

The primary objective of this training program was to connect rural residents with self-employment opportunities.
