Explained:Why Shehzada by Kartik Aaryan didn’t connect with the audience

Shehzada is the official remake of Allu Arjun’s blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.

Shehzada, starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon, opened last weekend at the box office after encountering numerous difficulties and delays. Due to the lead actor’s previous success with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, industry insiders predicted that his most recent film will be a moneymaker at the box office.

The movie, however, debuted well below expectations and only made Rs. 20.20 crore in its opening weekend. Even though Shivratri was celebrated on Saturday, Shehzada didn’t experience a significant uptick in viewers, which demonstrates that it hasn’t been able to connect with the audience. Nevertheless, why is this the case?
