Amazon and IIT-Bombay work together on AI-ML projects.

Under their partnership, IIT Bombay and Amazon will support community activities like research symposia, PhD fellowships, and research initiatives.

For the creation of the AI-ML initiative, Amazon and the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT-B) teamed up on Monday.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Bombay will be the home of this effort, which will advance artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) in the voice, language, and multimodal AI domains.

IIT Bombay director Subhasis Chaudhuri stated, “We at IIT Bombay are devoted to our objective of turning knowledge and research into new innovations.

“Our finest research minds have always attracted the attention of companies engaged in scientific study.

We anticipate being able to hasten the adoption of technologies/products in the field of AI-ML with the help of business partners like Amazon, who have a keen understanding of technology and a global footprint.

This is not the first time the two organisations have collaborated.

There are already connections between Amazon and IIT Bombay, including the Amazon Research Awards program.
