Jemimah Jessica Rodrigues was born on 5 September 2000 in Bhandup, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She comes from a supportive family and is the daughter of Ivan Rodrigues and Lavita Rodrigues. Jemimah grew up alongside her two brothers, Enoch and Eli, in an environment that encouraged sports and discipline from an early age.
She completed her schooling at St. Joseph’s Convent High School in Mumbai and later pursued higher education at Rizvi College of Arts, Science & Commerce. From childhood, Jemimah showed exceptional interest in sports. She began playing cricket at just four years old under the guidance and coaching of her father, who played a crucial role in shaping her early foundation in the game.
Apart from cricket, she was actively involved in multiple sports during her growing years. Jemimah played basketball and football and even represented Maharashtra in junior-level hockey before eventually choosing cricket as her primary career path.

Jemimah started her competitive career early, playing for Maharashtra’s under-19 team as a 13-year-old.
