It appears that everyone who is a fan will have to wait a few more years before entering Ayan Mukerji’s universe.
On Tuesday morning, the director provided an update on the Brahmastra trilogy and disclosed that he will be collaborating on “Part Two: Dev” and “Part Three” simultaneously. The first portion will hit theatres in December 2025, followed by the second in December 2026 and the third in December 2027. Ayan Mukerji titled his post “The Next Phase” and added the following statement: “April 4th, 2023. Hello, it is now appropriate to provide some updates on the Brahmastra trilogy, the Astraverse, and my personal life.
I have been concentrating on developing the idea for Parts Two and Three, which I now know will be bigger and more ambitious than Part One, after taking in all the love and criticism on Part One.
I’ve discovered that we need a bit more time to polish Brahmastra Two and Three’s script.
“I have decided that we are going to make the two films together – Allowing them to also release closer to one another,” Ayan Mukerji continued. I am sharing with you all today the timeline I have in place to accomplish this.
Ayan Mukerji wrote as his closing remarks on the letter: “I’m letting in all the good vibes so I can give it my all and support Indian cinema, which is the one thing I care about most. Light and love, Ayan.”
