The official trailer for the upcoming action-thriller movie The Equalizer 3 was released on Tuesday.
The official teaser was published by Sony Pictures’ production company on Instagram with the description “Vengeance meets his equal.
The Equalizer’s conclusion has Robert McCall being played once again by Denzel Washington. The Equalizer 3 will debut exclusively in theatres on September 1.
Variety reports that in Equalizer 3, Robert McCall (Washington) battles the Italian mafia while tackling crime on a global scale rather than in the US.
With a brand-new cast, including Dakota Fanning, with whom he reunited over 20 years later, Washington is back.
They both previously starred in Tony Scott’s 2004 picture Man on Fire, which Fanning was in at the time.
Other than them David Denman (Emancipation), Sonia Ben Ammar (Scream), and Remo Girone (Ford v Ferrari) all have significant parts in The Equalizer 3.
Fans flooded the comment section with red hearts and fire emoticons as soon as the trailer’s creators released it.
Richard Wenk returned to the franchise as a screenwriter, while Antoine Fuqua is back to direct the third installment.
