Jugesh Boro : Dancer & Choreographer Jugesh Boro’s story, from performing at tiny village functions to National platforms. Hailing from the vibrant city of Assam, India, Jugesh Boro isn’t just a skilled Dancer & Choreographer, he is also an passionate artist who look for extraordinary creativity in his creation. He carves smiles with a dream as big as the world itself. Along with his Dancing career, Boro maintained his academic education by completing B. A(2022) and M. A (2024) degree in English with first class position. At a very early age Jugesh has tackled many problems to fulfill his dreams and is still working to achieve big things in life. From the 12th standard Boro started teaching dance in a village named Seajuli located in North Lakhimpur district of Assam. He taught dance in different cities to support his academic study. Saroj Khan Dance Academy is one of the name where Jugesh taught Dance, which was named after one the prominent choreographer of Indian Cinema, Late Saroj Khan.
Currently He is working in Nrityabban Dance Studio which Boro claims “Heaven of Dance in small town”.
Jugesh Boro’s passion towards Dance extends beyond the realm of Dance. As Jugesh takes the dance stage, he changes into a “devoted artist,” his lyrics creating resilient and hopeful tapestries based on his personal experience balancing ambition and a passionate spirit.He learned the art of expression and creativity from prominent figures of Indian cinema, such as Boman Irani(actor), Mukti Mohan (Actress/Dancer), Terence Lewis (Dancer/Choreographer), Supern S Verma (Director), Samvedna Suwalka (Actress) , Rajesh Tailang(Actor), etc. In addition to having a master’s degree and a successful dance career, Boro has learned the skill of constancy and discipline, which has allowed him to make time for his sister, mother, and father as well as enjoy his artistic development.
Being raised in a low-income household, Jugesh has encountered numerous obstacles that have tried his resolve and fortitude. In the early years of Boro, both his father, Gubin Boro, and mother, Lilimai Boro, worked as daily laborers. Jugesh made the decision to make a significant life change after witnessing the acute poverty. In addition to continuing his studies, Boro took trips to showcase his dancing abilities. He collaborated with numerous gifted dancers, took part in numerous Indian reality programs, and gained recognition and popularity. Acknowledging his tenacity and his efforts to help his parents, even though the specifics of this trying period should be handled with the utmost respect, is crucial.
