“Team spirit was a big factor in our success. I think it’s a whole package: it’s the quality of players, people who are driven to raise standards all the time, and its consistency levels. Day in and day out, week in and week out. It’s not one thing, its a package: we had good managers at that time, Jos and Antonio, two well-established respected managers; and we had a squad of brilliant international football players with a strong mentality.”
