Samantha Ruth Prabhu discusses her failed marriage to Naga Chaitanya in detail and admits that she was in a “very sad place” at the time.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, a South star, has a huge fan base in Bollywood as well.

The diva, who played a rakish antagonist in The Family Man season 2 alongside Manoj Bajpayee, will soon be seen opposite Varun Dhawan in the international spy drama Citadel. Moreover, she is working on the Vijay Deverakonda-starrer Kushi.

On a personal note, the actor and his ex-husband Naga Chaitanya recently went through a divorce.

Samantha recently spoke with Zoom Digital’s Talk Easy segment and discussed that difficult time, revealing that nothing was ever simple. In her own words, “I was in a really dark place and had some truly horrible ideas throughout the roughest stages of this disease. I would not allow these thoughts to devastate me. It implies that I must begin to look ahead.

I’m lucky that so many of my friends and family stood behind me. Although I haven’t fully overcome it, the frequency of terrible days has significantly decreased. The actor had previously acknowledged that although she gave her marriage her all, things did not turn out as she had hoped.

She continued by saying that the only way she knew of to get through this was to maintain a brave exterior and keep working.

Said she, “I am at a loss for how else to respond. I respond exactly as I want to and in that manner. It’s critical to understand that difficult times pass and that we shouldn’t become mired in them.”
