Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan crosses ₹900 crore mark worldwide

Now that it has broken its own records, Shah Rukh Khan’s “Pathaan” is setting new ones.

The spy film, which marked the superstar’s comeback after four years, has made 901 crores in worldwide box office revenue in a little more than three weeks.

“The overall worldwide gross is an amazing 901 crore (India gross: 558.40 crore, overseas: 342.60 crore),”

Yash Raj Films (YRF) stated in a press release.
The studio disclosed that the movie made a net of 5.90 crore in India on Friday, February 10.

The movie was described as “the highest grossing Hindi film in the history of Hindi cinema” by the YRF.

When the box office receipts from India are compared to those from recent blockbusters in all languages,

Pathaan is among the top earners ever. Baahubali 2 The Conclusion is still at the top with 1,030 crore,

followed by KGF Chapter 2 with 859 crore. RRR is still in third place with a net collection of 772 crore in

India. After hitting the $500 million barrier, Pathaan passed Baahubali (421 crore) to take the fourth spot.

The titular spy (Shah Rukh) in the action thriller directed by Siddharth Anand returns from exile to prevent

terrorists from attacking India. The movie also stars John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, Dimple Kapadia, and Ashutosh Rana in addition to Shah Rukh Khan.
