In response to Disha Vakani’s absence, former TMKOC star Monika Bhadoriya speculates that Asit Modi may have misbehaved with her.

Monika Bhadoriya, who portrayed the well-known character of Bawri on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah for six years, quit the programme in 2019.

Shailesh Lodha, a former Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor, has claimed that the show’s producers delayed his payment. For the uninitiated, Asit Kumarr Modi, the show’s creator and producer, has lately been accused of sexual harassment by Jennifer Mistry, who once portrayed Mrs. Roshan Sodhi. And now Monika Bhadoriya, a different TMKOC star, has come out to make new accusations against Modi. She even addressed Disha Vakani, a.k.a. Daya Bhabhi, as missing from the programme.

She (Disha) does not want to return, Monika said in a discussion with News 18. Nobody wants to watch this show again. I don’t believe so. She said, “She (Disha) is not returning. The star of the show was her. She had been gone for a very long time. Do you believe they have made every effort to get her back? But she is unwilling to return.

Bhadoriya continued, “He (Asit Kumarr Modi) acts the same way with everyone,” as the talk carried on. He must have behaved badly around her (Disha) as well. She used to, however, never take it seriously. She had a habit of letting go. ‘Chodo koi baat nahi’, ‘jaane do’, and all that

Before she concluded, Monika argued that because they depend on TMKOC for their livelihood, none of the current cast members of the show are speaking out against Asit Kumar Modi. She noted that a sizable section of the original TMKOC ensemble had already left the show, and she forecast that the other actors would follow suit soon.
