According to the plan, the distance between Delhi and Mumbai will be lowered by 12%, from 1,424 km to 1,242 km, and the trip time will be reduced by 50%, from the present 24-hour period to 12 hours.


The Delhi Mumbai Expressway’s 246 km Delhi – Dausa – Lalsot stretch was built for more than 12,150 crore.

Passing this part will also cut the trip from Delhi to Jaipur’s 5 hours down to about 3.5 hours, significantly boosting the area’s economic growth.

At more than 2000 water recharge points, rainwater is collected at intervals of 500 metres.

With a length of 1,386 kilometres, the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway would be the nation’s longest motorway.

It will cut the mileage between Delhi and Mumbai in half, from 24 hours to 12 hours, and 12%, from

1,424 km to 1,242 km.

It will connect important towns like Kota, Indore, Jaipur, Bhopal, Vadodara, and Surat while passing

through the six states of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra.

The foundation for 247 kilometres of National Highway projects, which will be built at a cost of more than

5,940 crore, will also be laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

This includes a 67-km long, four-lane branch road from

Bandikui to Jaipur that would cost more than 2,000 crore,

a six-lane spur road connecting Kotputli to Baraodaneo that will cost roughly 3,775 crore,

and a two-lane paved shoulder connecting Lalsot to Karoli that will cost roughly 150 crore.
