Memorial Tribute Organized by Jai Dharti Maa Foundation

“Guruji will always remain with us in the form of trees” – Ravi Kumar Nishad

On Wednesday, 6th August 2025, Jai Dharti Maa Foundation organized a memorial tribute meeting at Randhir Verma Chowk, Dhanbad in honor of the great leader Dishom Guru Shibu Soren Ji.

As part of the tribute, a special program was held in which a tree sapling was dedicated in Guruji’s name. The gathering was marked by the distribution of saplings among the public, carrying the symbolic message that Guruji’s life resembled that of a tree. Just as a tree does not consume its own fruits, enjoys no comfort from its own shade, and produces life-giving oxygen for others, Guruji too lived a life entirely devoted to the welfare of others.

Speaking on the occasion, Ravi Kumar Nishad, Founder of Jai Dharti Maa Foundation, said:

“Guruji’s life was never for himself but always for the people. Every effort he made was for the upliftment of the citizens of Jharkhand and the tribal community. Had it not been for Guruji’s vision and struggle, the very existence and identity of Jharkhand might have been different today. Though he is no longer physically present among us, his deeds, thoughts, and sacrifices continue to guide us.”

He further added that planting a tree in Guruji’s memory is more than a symbolic act. It is a living tribute, a reminder that Guruji remains among us in the form of these trees. Every sapling nurtured in his name will serve as a source of inspiration, encouraging people to follow his path of dedication and selfless service.
