In a surprising turn after their recent public war of words, yoga guru Baba Ramdev has extended an olive branch to actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
Ramdev said he was sending Kangana a gift and sweets and would also call her to wish her on the festival. His message came with a broader appeal for people to move away from hatred and hostility and resolve disagreements through dialogue.
From a Public Clash to a Raksha Bandhan Gesture
The gesture is particularly notable because Ramdev and Kangana had recently been involved in a heated exchange. Their disagreement became a major talking point after Ramdev criticised remarks made by Kangana, leading to a sharp response from the actor-politician.
