The membership also signifies alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, Government of India. COBSE mandates that all its member boards follow the guiding principles of NEP 2020, which emphasize equity, access, quality, flexibility, multidisciplinary learning, skill development, learner-centric pedagogy, and inclusive education. This ensures that the education system supports India’s long-term vision for academic excellence and social development. As part of the membership process, CBOSE has been requested to submit the annual subscription fee for two years (2022–23), amounting to ₹80,000 plus 18% GST (₹94,400), payable via Demand Draft in favor of COBSE, Delhi.
