Pratik Shinde Reel Star Fortuner Triggers Major Accident on Pune–Solapur Highway

Pune | September 13, 2025 Reel Star Pratik Shinde – A dramatic three-vehicle collision on the Pune–Solapur highway near Madanwadi (Sakunde Vasti) caused heavy traffic congestion and significant property damage on Thursday evening around 5:30 p.m.

The crash involved social-media influencer Pratik Ram Shinde, 24, popularly known as Reel Star Pratik, whose month-old Toyota Fortuner (MH-42-BS-0111) allegedly rear-ended a Hyundai Creta. According to police, the impact was so strong that the Creta was pushed forward into a Maruti Wagon R, leaving all three vehicles badly damaged and resulting in losses worth several lakhs of rupees.

Swift Response, No Casualties

Local residents rushed to assist moments after the collision, while highway police quickly arrived to clear the traffic jam. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported.

Following the incident, Bheegwan Police Station registered a case against Shinde for negligent driving and damage to property. The accident has reignited public concern over reckless driving by high-profile motorists.

“Some drivers race in a film-style manner, endangering innocent lives. Strict action is essential,” said one local resident.

In a separate accident the same day, a speeding car on Mumbai’s Ghatkopar LBS Road broke through barricades, mounted the footpath, and slammed into a shopfront. Three pedestrians were critically injured.

Eyewitnesses allege that the car’s two female passengers and the male driver were intoxicated. Shockingly, the driver fled the scene in an auto-rickshaw, leaving the two women behind. Mumbai Police have detained both women and launched a manhunt for the absconding driver.
