THE FASTEST GROWING TABLE TENNIS LEAGUE IN INDIA TURNS MIXED-GENDER FOR BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

Just 8 months after its landmark debut
YANA League by YANA Sports is back.

After creating history in March 2026 with *India’s first Women’s Table Tennis League
YANA – You Are Not Alone returns on October 3-4, 2026 in Mumbai with a bigger, purpose-driven edition timed for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

This October: 12 Teams. 96 Players. Mixed-Gender Format.
The fastest growing table tennis league in India scales up to 12 teams with 8 players each — 96 athletes — competing in a mixed-gender format of 4 women + 4 men per team as per IOC guidelines.

Why Mixed? Because Men Need To Know Too.
Breast cancer isn’t just a women’s issue. In India, 1 in 28 women is at risk of developing breast cancer. Early detection has a 90%+ survival rate, yet women often deprioritize their own health checks while caring for family.

YANA League’s “Men as Catalysts” format brings men to the table — literally. Male players will compete alongside women athletes to learn, share, and amplify the message: Early detection saves lives. Health is a family responsibility.

Awareness Through Action: Sport With Impact
YANA League is India’s first sports IP where impact is on the scorecard.
For the October edition, a portion of all league proceeds will be donated to a breast cancer patients’ organization supporting treatment, post-care, and counseling.

Building on a Historic March 2026 Debut
The October edition follows YANA League’s groundbreaking first season held in March 2026, which became India’s first Women’s Table Tennis League. The debut featured:

  1. 8 Teams, 48 Players from across India
  2. 100+ women registrations, showing demand for women’s competitive platforms
  3. National-level officiating and live cameras on all tables
  4. Live streaming on YANA Sports reaching audiences nationwide
  5. Star players and champions gracing the opening, putting women’s TT in the spotlight

The March edition proved that sport with purpose draws talent, audience, and impact. October scales it.

The Bigger Vision: 2027 Roadmap
YANA League is building India’s first licensed sports IP for social impact.
2027 will see 4 leagues: Juniors, Women’s, Interclub Team Event, and Mixed Gender — raising awareness for Mental Wellness, Women’s Safety, Menopause, and Breast Cancer.
YANA – You Are Not Alone, is more than a tournament. It’s a movement,” says Krishna Kotian, Founder of YANA Sports and YANA League, sports entrepreneur, actor, and advertising professional with 30 years of experience. At 57, he says, “I’m as hungry as a 30-year-old to build this.

This October, we’re making men part of the solution. Because when men are aware, women get checked. When families play together, no one fights alone.
