Dilip Joshi, best known for his role as Jethalal in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, will not appear in the next few episodes. One of the most adored characters on the program is Dilip’s Jethalal, who has been a part of TMKOC since the beginning. Despite the fact that many of the original cast members have either left the program or been replaced by new performers, Jethalal’s amusing character helps TMKOC maintain its strong ratings. According to a recent media rumor, the actor has now temporarily left the program and won’t appear in a few upcoming episodes.
Fans are surely going to miss Jethalal in upcoming episodes and the reason behind his absence is not because the actor is looking to quit the show due to any differences with its makers. But, Dilip Joshi is on a short religious trip to Tanzania with his family.

The above mentioned event will be organised by Swaminarayan’s BAPS community, which will take place in UAE’s Abu Dhabi next year. In the caption, the actor wrote, ”Jay Swaminarayan. Extending this heartfelt invitation for such a momentous and joyous occasion!”
