SRM AP University’s E-Cell Club recently hosted a highly successful event, attracting over 1,000 students from various disciplines. The event served as a vibrant introduction to innovation and entrepreneurship for new students, offering them a unique opportunity to engage with the E-Cell, learn about its activities, and enjoy complimentary pizzas and Pepsi, generously provided by the event’s sponsor, Total Fresh, a rapidly growing local food delivery app.

The event kicked off with a welcome address and an overview of the E-Cell Club’s mission to foster entrepreneurship and innovation among students. The club highlighted its diverse range of activities, such as workshops, pitch competitions, and mentorship programs, which are designed to nurture entrepreneurial skills and encourage innovative thinking. Students were also briefed on the upcoming events planned by the E-Cell, promising hands-on experiences and valuable networking opportunities.

A significant portion of the event was dedicated to exploring the numerous opportunities available within the E-Cell Club and the university’s Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Guided by Sidharth Tripathy, Director of the Department, the club has been instrumental in helping students achieve their entrepreneurial aspirations. Attendees were informed about the various forms of support offered, including access to the university’s startup incubation hub, professional mentorship, and opportunities to participate in high-impact projects and internships.

One of the standout moments of the event was the interactive session where students were invited to pitch their startup ideas. This dynamic segment allowed participants to showcase their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, receiving immediate feedback and encouragement. The event also highlighted the internship opportunities available through the university’s startup and incubation hub, motivating students to gain real-world experience and develop their entrepreneurial skills in a supportive environment.

The event was made possible by the generous sponsorship of Total Fresh, a local food delivery app that has quickly become a favorite among the student community. Known for its speedy delivery service, user-friendly interface, and diverse menu options, Total Fresh has carved out a niche in the local market. The app is particularly popular among students for its affordability and convenience, making it the go-to choice for quick meals on campus and in surrounding areas. By sponsoring the event, Total Fresh demonstrated its commitment to supporting student initiatives and fostering a spirit of entrepreneurship within the community.

As the event concluded, students left with a deeper understanding of the E-Cell Club’s offerings and a renewed motivation to pursue their entrepreneurial goals. The success of this event represents a significant milestone for the E-Cell Club and sets the stage for more innovative and impactful events in the future.

For more information about the E-Cell Club and its upcoming events, students are encouraged to visit the club’s official Instagram page or contact the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at SRM AP University directly.
