Hyderabad, April 26, 2026: In a breathtaking display of discipline, precision, and unity, as many as 1,212 karate athletes etched their names into history by clinching a Guinness World Records title at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium on 26th April 2026 Hyderabad. The extraordinary feat, achieved through a synchronized 11-minute martial arts performance, has set a new benchmark in India’s sporting landscape.

The record-breaking event was jointly organized by the Jayanth Reddy International Taekwondo Academy and Vision Martial Arts Academy, drawing participation from nearly 10 states across the country, including Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The gathering of such a large number of trained martial artists under one roof reflected the growing popularity and strength of martial arts in India, particularly in the Telugu states.

In a meticulously coordinated demonstration, all 1,212 participants performed a sequence of punches, kicks, and defensive techniques in perfect harmony. The performance, which lasted for 11 minutes, required intense training, focus, and synchronization, leaving the audience spellbound. The scale of execution, combined with flawless timing, made the feat both visually stunning and technically remarkable.

The attempt was officially monitored by a Guinness World Records adjudicator, Swapnil, who evaluated the performance in accordance with strict international guidelines. After thorough verification, the attempt was declared successful, and the coveted Guinness World Records certificate was presented to the organizers amid loud cheers and celebrations.

Addressing the gathering, the adjudicator lauded the participants for their discipline and coordination, stating that achieving such precision with over a thousand performers simultaneously was a rare and commendable accomplishment. He highlighted that maintaining uniformity and energy throughout the 11-minute performance was a significant challenge, which the athletes overcame with remarkable skill.

Grand Master M. Jayanth Reddy, a renowned martial arts expert and multiple world record holder, expressed immense pride in the achievement. He stated that the event was the result of months of rigorous planning, training, and teamwork. According to him, the primary aim behind organizing the mega event was to promote martial arts among the youth and inspire them to adopt disciplined and healthy lifestyles.

“The success of this event proves that with dedication and unity, anything is possible. We wanted to create awareness about the importance of martial arts, not just as a sport but as a way of life,” he said.

The event also witnessed the active involvement of several instructors and coordinators, including Master Vittal of Vision Martial Arts Academy, along with Suman Palle, Sridhar, Mohammed Pasha, and Gajender, who played key roles in organizing and executing the large-scale program.
