Zee Marathi’s much-loved serial Shiva is set to go off-air, with its final episode scheduled for 8 August 2025. The show, which first aired on 12 February 2024, has captivated audiences with its emotional storyline and powerful performances.
The lead roles were played by Purva Kaushik as Shivani Kailas Patil / Shivani Ashutosh Desai (Shiva) and Shalva Kinjawadekar as Ashutosh Ramchandra Desai (Chakula). Over the past year and a half, the series built a strong fan base and became a household name in Marathi entertainment.
During the wrap-up shoot, Purva Kaushik became visibly emotional. In a heartfelt moment, she removed her wig—a significant part of her character’s look—and her eyes welled up with tears.
