NAVI MUMBAI: Due to the civic body’s forced shutdown at Bhokarpada water treatment plant near Morbe dam to complete repairs and maintenance work of the main supply line between Morbe dam and Digha in anticipation of the impending monsoon, residents in NMMC nodes like Belapur, Nerul, Sanpada, Vashi, Koparkhairane, Ghansoli, and Airoli will have to prepare for water cuts lasting at least 12 hours from 10 a.m. Residents have complained about the water cutoff during the scorching summer.
