Mumbai [India], September 17: Hanuman Ansh has added another major milestone to its remarkable theatrical run. The spiritual drama has crossed the ₹300 crore mark in worldwide gross collections on Day 41, continuing to attract audiences even in its sixth week. According to the latest figures cited by NDTV from Sacnilk, the film collected ₹6 crore net in India on Wednesday, taking its domestic net total to ₹237.13 crore. Its India gross has reached around ₹280 crore, while the worldwide gross stands at ₹300.25 crore.

The Day 41 collection represents a decline of around 27.3 per cent from Tuesday, when the film earned ₹8.25 crore in India. Despite the drop, the numbers remain notable considering that the film is already more than six weeks into its theatrical journey. On Wednesday, the movie recorded an overall occupancy of around 17.19 per cent, compared with 28.65 per cent on Tuesday.

What makes the film’s box-office journey unusual is how slowly it started before witnessing a dramatic turnaround. Hanuman Ansh collected only ₹1.08 crore in its opening week and another ₹40 lakh in its second week. Its business then began to rise, with Week 3 bringing in ₹10.40 crore and Week 4 jumping to ₹61 crore. The film reached another high in Week 5, collecting approximately ₹90.25 crore.

The sixth week has continued that momentum, although daily collections have now begun to fluctuate. The film earned ₹10.50 crore on its sixth Friday, followed by ₹18.50 crore on Saturday and ₹22.50 crore on Sunday. It then collected ₹8.25 crore each on Monday and Tuesday before dropping to ₹6 crore on Wednesday. The sixth-week run has therefore added another substantial amount to its already strong domestic total.

The film’s theatrical journey was far from straightforward. After its release, competition from movies such as Batwara 1947 and Awarapan 2 reportedly resulted in its screen count falling to as few as 25 shows at one point. However, as competing films failed to maintain strong audience traction, Hanuman Ansh gradually regained screens. Positive word of mouth also helped bring more viewers back to theatres.

The worldwide milestone has become even more significant because of the film’s reported production cost. Hanuman Ansh was made on a budget of around ₹1.75 crore, according to NDTV. With worldwide gross collections now at ₹300.25 crore, the film’s theatrical performance has moved far beyond the scale initially expected from a small-budget spiritual drama.

Written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh is based on the life and spiritual journey of Neem Karoli Baba, whose birth name was Lakshman Narayan Sharma. The story follows a young Lakshmi Narayan after the death of his mother as he begins searching for answers about life, death and spirituality. His journey eventually leads him towards becoming the revered saint Neem Karoli Baba.

The film stars Shobhinaw Satyaa in the lead role, with Vihaan Shedge, Chandan K Anand, Purnima Tiwari, Anil Rastogi, Gulshan Pandey and Bhagvandas Patel also appearing in important roles. The movie focuses on themes of spirituality, compassion, service and the search for a deeper purpose in life.

The ₹300 crore worldwide milestone also places Hanuman Ansh among the notable Hindi box-office performers of 2026. The Indian Express reported that the film has become the third-highest-grossing Hindi film of the year so far, underlining the scale of its theatrical turnaround.

The film’s overseas contribution currently stands at approximately ₹20.25 crore, according to the latest figures, with India accounting for the bulk of its worldwide business. The domestic net collection of ₹237.13 crore and worldwide gross of ₹300.25 crore show how strongly the film has performed in the Indian market during its extended theatrical run.

For a film that opened quietly and briefly faced a sharp reduction in screens, reaching the ₹300 crore worldwide milestone after 41 days represents a remarkable change in its box-office trajectory. Its performance has been driven less by a conventional star-led opening and more by sustained audience interest over several weeks.

With the film continuing to play in theatres, the final box-office figure will depend on how long exhibitors retain screens and how the movie performs against new releases. For now, Hanuman Ansh has firmly established itself as one of the biggest theatrical surprises of 2026, with ₹300.25 crore worldwide and ₹237.13 crore India net after 41 days.
