The Women’s Premier League (WPL) has only been going for a few days, but already it appears to be a huge success. The players are doing everything they can to perform at their peak on the field, which allows the fans to watch a fierce struggle in every game.

Kiran Navgire

The inaugural league doubleheader took place on March 4 with Delhi Capitals crushing Royal Challengers Bangalore by 60 runs and UP Warriorz securing a thrilling victory against Gujarat Giants by 3 wickets. Kiran Navgire of UP, who is renowned for her hard-hitting abilities, hammered a scorching 50 to lay the stage for her team’s triumph. She achieved a few maximums and five boundaries while she was in the middle. Except from her knock, the mark on her bat was the only thing that everyone noticed.

The willow of Navgire lacked any sponsor labels. Instead, she scribbled “MSD 07” on it herself. While the Maharashtra hitter was pounding the Gujarat Giants bowlers, the commentators called attention to it live on television.

Once netizens got to know about Kiran’s bat, social media got flooded with appreciation posts for the cricketer.
