In the near future, JioCinema will offer streaming access to all HBO and Warner Bros. content. Warner Bros.

Discovery and Reliance’s Viacom18 announced a multi-year partnership on Thursday, stating that JioCinema would become the new home for WB’s library of TV shows and films in India “beginning next month” (May 2023).

As evidenced by Disney+ Hotstar, the collection is not just confined to HBO originals; it also contains Max Original (formerly HBO Max) and other Warner Bros. productions.

Peacemaker was marketed to Amazon Prime Video seven months after its US release since HBO Max projects previously lacked a home in India.

Discovery (India, Southeast Asia, and Korea), “Warner Bros. Discovery’s brands are incredibly popular across India, and we are pleased to partner with Viacom18 to bring our premium HBO, Max Original, and Warner Bros. content to local fans.”
