Alvin Bragg, the district attorney for New York City, recently called a grand jury to consider if there was sufficient evidence to file a case against the former president for the money handed to Stormy Daniels.

Donald Trump is the first former US president to face criminal charges, according to reports, after the jury chose to do so. What allegations will be made is unknown. On his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump referred to the investigation as a political witch hunt carried out by a “corrupt, wicked, and weaponized justice system.”
Daniels, whose legal name is Stephanie Gregory Clifford, claims that she was raised by a negligent mother in Louisiana. Playing with horses was her pastime.
But starting in high school, she relied on her work in strip clubs to support herself financially. According to Stormy, she was only trying to survive at the moment.
She got her start in striptease, moved on to adult films, where she rose to fame as an actor, director, and screenwriter while also collecting numerous accolades. She later ran into Donald Trump at a celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, California, where she was hired to greet players in between tees. At the time, Daniels was 27 and Trump was 60 years old.
She asserts that Trump asked her to dinner via a bodyguard, that they later engaged in sexual activity in his hotel room despite the fact that he was married to Melania Trump, the future first lady, and that they kept in touch for some time.
The indictment of Donald Trump is not grounds for celebration, her lawyers said in a more formal statement while Daniels announced her success on Twitter. Respect must be shown for the grand jury’ diligence and integrity. May justice and truth now reign supreme.
