Jawan box office collection day 31: Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan has been in theatres for over a month and is still doing better business than some of the new releases.

Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, has been playing in theaters for more than a month, yet despite this, it continues to earn more money each day than some recent releases, such as Dono and Thank You For Coming. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the Atlee-directed movie generated Rs 2.10 crore on its 31st day in theaters. The movie’s domestic nett earnings now total Rs. 620.78 crore.

Given that it has already surpassed the domestic box office earnings of Gadar 2 and Pathaan, Jawan is the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time. The movie made a total of Rs 1103.6 crore in its 31st day of release. Mission Raniganj, starring Akshay Kumar, earned Rs 4.7 crore on its second day of release. It is unclear if this will be enough to compete with the Shah Rukh Khan movie. The second-week-old film Fukrey 3 is also doing well at the box office; on its tenth day, it brought in Rs 3.81 crore, bringing its nett domestic earnings to Rs 72.14 crore.

Jawan had an extraordinary start at the box office, earning an astounding Rs 75 crore on its first day and Rs 286.16 crore by the end of its first weekend. The movie was released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, and while it absolutely ruled the Hindi market, it also did well in Tamil and Telugu.

Shah Rukh Khan has had a particularly successful year in 2023. He kicked off the year with Siddharth Anand’s spy actioner Pathaan, which ended up grossing Rs 1050 crore globally over the course of its run. Shah Rukh Khan is now the second celebrity, after Aamir Khan, to earn more than Rs 2000 crore in a single year. With Jawan and Pathaan, he accomplished this accomplishment, and he is now anticipating Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki later this year. Aamir Khan’s Dangal previously achieved a record-breaking worldwide box office revenue of Rs 2400 crore, although a large portion of that came from the movie’s release in China. In China, Jawan and Pathaan have not yet been released.

In the past week, Jawan’s ticket prices have dropped dramatically, and the producers have added promotions like “buy 1 get 1” for the audience. Despite this, the movie consistently makes a respectable profit.

Although there have been rumors about a sequel to Jawan, neither the director nor the actor have made an official announcement as of yet. However, Atlee made it seem as though he would soon begin working on a sequel. “See, every one of my films has this kind of [open] ending,” he said to Pinkvilla. I’ve never considered making a film sequel to any of my works. I left it with an open ending, and if anything compelling occurs to me, I will undoubtedly write a sequel. We’ll see.
