New IT Park worth 9024 crores in Ghansoli

Ghansoli : The company is going to invest 2501 crores 14 lakhs.

The number of data centers and IT parks in Navi Mumbai city is increasing day by day, a new IT park is coming up at Savli, Ghansoli in Rabale MIDC with an investment of Rs 9023 crore 88 lakhs. The State Pollution Control Board has given the green light for this IT Park in its 21st Consent Committee meeting.

Support Property Pvt. on the plot provided by MIDC. Ltd. is a company in the first phase of 2,51,934.30 sq. 1, 11, 349.02 square meters will be constructed on a vast plot of area. For this the company is going to invest 2501 crores 14 lakhs.

Environmental clearance received in December 2023

The Union Ministry of Environment has given a certificate for this vast construction of 5,37, 233.95 square meters on a total area of 2,51,934.30 square meters on 11th December, 2023. After that, the State Pollution Control Board has given its consent in its 21st meeting.

Here the company is going to invest a total of 9023 crores 88 lakhs. This IT park will require 30 lakh liters of water per day in the first phase. So 29 lakh liters of sewage will be generated every day, and a STP of 10 cmd capacity will be constructed for processing it.

The IT policy of the state is giving a boost

In its IT Policy 2023 of the Government of Maharashtra, many concessions have been given for the information technology industries to come to the state. Therefore, a large network of IT parks and data centers are being set up in cities like Pune, Navi Mumbai in the state. According to this new policy, IT companies are given the freedom to set up tech parks anywhere in the state of Maharashtra.

In addition, they will get substantial subsidy ranging from 50 to 100 percent on stamp duty and electricity charges will be waived for a period of 10 to 15 years. IT Parks in the state have increased since the MIDC will secure necessary infrastructure such as roads, electricity, connectivity and water as well as all necessary permits, set up a data center park and (b) the state government will lay transmission lines and substations related to the infrastructure of the data center park.

Navi Mumbai is most preferred for IT Park

As Navi Mumbai already has most of these facilities, it is a fertile environment for IT parks, data centers. Thane-Belapur road, Thane-Vashi railway line with Sion-Panvel highway, Mumbai to Panvel-Belapur-Vashi railway line makes Navi Mumbai the best place for connectivity. Besides Mumbai, Thane, Kalyan-Dombvili, Panvel, Ulhasnagar-Ambernath-Badlapur cities are within 10 to 30 km radius from Navi Mumbai. Ports like Mumbai Airport, JNPA, Mumbai Port Trust are useful for passenger and cargo.
