The creators of House of the Dragon released new posters hinting to the conflict between “Team Green” and “Team Black” in the next trailer.
In June, HBO and Max will offer the second season of the Game of Thrones spin-off, House of the Dragon, for streaming. The show’s creators unveiled a series of new posters inviting viewers to take a side ahead of the release of a new teaser on Thursday.
Team Green or Black
“Next week. Everyone Has to Make a Decision. Team Green or Team Black?” the House of the Dragon official account tweeted, showcasing the posters. Six new posters serve as a reminder to viewers of the show’s main characters. The new posters feature Olivia Cooke as Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen and Emma D’Arcy as Alicent Hightower, with Alicent standing for “green” and Emma for “black.”
Fans pick sides
It appears that fans can choose their sides before the episodes or the teaser are released. “Not sure I know anyone who’s Team Green (nor do I want to),” a fan commented. One person said, “I think I speak for everyone when I say Team Green,” in contrast to the others. Another admirer wrote, “We are all choosing Team Black right?” to make sure everyone was on “Team Black.” “Rhaenyra Targaryen she will always be our choice,” wrote a fervent fan.
About House of the Dragon S02
The second season of House of the Dragon continues the narrative from George R.R. Martin’s extensive book Fire and Blood. About 150 years of history are covered in the book, which ends with Dance of the Dragons. For a time now, the showrunners and writer have made jokes about the show in different interviews.
“I…spent two days locked in a room with Ryan Condal and his writing staff (Sara Hess, Ti Mikkel, David Hancock, and Philippa Goslett) talking about the third and fourth seasons of House of the Dragon,” said George on his blog, hinting that a third and fourth season are already in the works.
Matt Smith, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, and Sonoya Mizuno are among the other actors that appear in House of the Dragon.
